The 11th edition of the Kwibuka Peace Tournament will take place in Kigali, Rwanda, from June 3rd to 12th, 2025.
Uganda’s Victoria Pearls, led by captain Janet Mbabazi, aim to defend their title. Under coach Deus Muhumuza a team of 14 players have been selected for this Women’s T20 tournament.
The team features a mix of experienced campaigners and exciting four new faces including; Teddy Oyella, Kevin Amuge, Sarah Tino and Proscivia Alako ready to retain the title and also build momentum ahead of upcoming ICC Women’s T20 world Cup qualifies in Windhoek, Nambia.

The tournament carries ICC T20 ranking points, with Uganda currently ranked 17th in the world. Victoria Pearls will travels to Kigali this weekend on May 31 and will bowls off on Thursday, June 4th against Cameroon at Gahanga International Cricket Stadium.
It was launched in 2014 with just two teams as a bilateral series with Uganda and Rwanda. It has since grown into one of the most respected women’s cricket competitions on the continent.

This year’s event will feature nine nations: Rwanda, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Brazil, Cameroon, Malawi, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe Emerging. The 2025 edition will be played in a single round-robin format, with all nine teams facing each other once.

At the end of the league stage, the top four teams will advance to the semi finals, and the two winners will clash in the grand final to determine the All Glory Champion.
