The Uganda Table Tennis Association (UTTA) has confirmed that four Ugandan coaches have officially been awarded the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Level Two Coaching Certificate after successfully completing all the required certification procedures.
The milestone follows a successful follow-up process by the UTTA Executive Board with the ITTF regarding the Level Two Coaching Course that was conducted in Uganda from July 4-9, 2022.
After assuming office, the current UTTA leadership prioritised ensuring that coaches who had completed the course fulfilled all the remaining supervision requirements needed for international certification.

To complete the process, the association appointed experienced coach Paul Mutambuze to supervise the candidates in line with ITTF guidelines. UTTA commended Mutambuze for his commitment and contribution, noting that his efforts played a key role in enabling the coaches to secure their qualifications.
Following the successful assessment, the ITTF confirmed that Jonathan Senyonga, Regina Nakibuule, Jude Mutete and Daniel Mutabazi had met all the requirements for the prestigious Level Two Coaching Certificate.
UTTA has advised the newly certified coaches to contact the association’s General Secretary to collect their certificates.
The association congratulated the quartet on reaching an important milestone in their coaching careers, expressing confidence that their new qualifications will strengthen coaching standards and contribute significantly to the continued growth and development of table tennis in Uganda.
