Uganda’s finest sports talents once again took center stage at the October 2025 Fortebet Real Stars Sports Awards, where Jacob Kiplimo, Jemimmah Nakawala, and Farahat Manirola emerged top performers in their respective disciplines. The colourful ceremony was held on Tuesday at Lazo Restaurant in Kololo in Kampala, drawing officials from Fortebet, Jude Colour Solutions, and the Real Stars Sports Agency.

Fresh from his record-breaking triumph at the Chicago Marathon, Kiplimo clinched the athletics gong after clocking an astonishing 2:02:23, setting a new Ugandan national record and becoming the seventh fastest marathoner in history. His dominant run left little doubt about his status as one of the world’s premier long-distance athletes.

In table tennis, rising star Jemimmah Nakawala claimed the month’s accolade after spearheading Team Uganda’s qualification for the World Championships with three successive victories. Her consistency and composure saw her beat teammates Pervin Nangonzi and Judith Mirembe to the award.

Boxer Farahat Manirola continued his impressive form, walking away with his second career Real Stars Award, the first having come in May last year. Manirola’s recent gold medal at the East Africa Zone 3 Championships elevated him above fellow contenders Aziz Ringo and Willy Kyakonye in the boxing category.

The awards, organized by Isaac Mukasa’s Real Stars Sports Agency, continue to celebrate Uganda’s sporting excellence and inspire athletes to push the boundaries of performance across all disciplines.
