BUL FC has confirmed that winger Martin Aprem has signed a new three-year contract, extending his stay with the club until 2027. The extension comes after the expiry of his previous deal in June, ensuring the dynamic attacker remains a key part of the Eastern Giants’ future plans.

A graduate of BUL FC’s youth system, Aprem earned his promotion to the senior team during the 2019/2020 season. Since then, he has grown into one of the club’s most consistent and influential performers, earning admiration for his speed, creativity, and ability to change games in the final third.

Aprem has played a pivotal role in the team’s recent success, contributing vital goals and assists while operating predominantly on the wing. His flair and tireless work ethic have made him a fan favorite and a cornerstone of BUL’s attacking strategy.

“This Club Is Home”

Reacting to his contract renewal, Aprem expressed pride in continuing his journey with the club that nurtured his talent.

“I’m really excited to sign on for another three years. BUL FC is more than just a team to me—it’s family. I’m grateful for the trust from the management, the coaches, and the fans,” he said.

“I want to keep helping this team grow, win matches, and lift trophies. There’s still a lot I want to achieve here, and I’m committed to giving everything I have.”

Coach Kikomeko Hails Aprem’s Commitment

Head Coach Abbey Kikomeko welcomed the news, praising Aprem’s decision to stay and highlighting his impact both on and off the pitch.

“Martin’s extension is a major boost for us. He brings pace, creativity, and a great attitude to the team. He’s one of those players who lifts the squad with his presence,” said Kikomeko.

“We know what he’s capable of, and we believe he’s still got more to offer. His hunger for success matches the club’s ambition. With him onboard, we’re confident of achieving even more.”

Proven Track Record

Aprem’s contributions have already helped BUL FC make history. He was instrumental in the team’s maiden Uganda Cup triumph in 2021, and played a starring role as the club secured back-to-back FUFA Super Eight titles in 2023 and 2024.

As BUL FC aims to build on its recent success and challenge for more silverware, Aprem’s presence offers continuity, experience, and a spark of brilliance that can unlock any defense.

With the new season approaching, BUL fans will be eager to see what more the homegrown star can deliver in the club’s iconic yellow and green.
