She Corporate FC reignited the title race in the FUFA Women Super League with a ruthless second-round statement, brushing aside Asubo Ladies FC 3–0 to pile pressure on the summit contenders.

Rather than easing into the restart, the Sharks turned the contest into a showcase of efficiency and attacking depth. The result was less about possession statistics and more about intent — sharp movement, quick recoveries and clinical finishing that left Asubo chasing shadows for long spells.

Jesca Namanda once again proved the difference-maker. Her brace — one in each half — underlined her growing influence in the title run-in and pushed her season tally into double figures. The forward’s first was a fierce drive from range that unsettled the visitors early, while her second came from intelligent anticipation inside the box after linking up neatly with Husna Mpanja.

Sandra Kisakye sealed the points midway through the second half with a confident long-range effort, effectively ending the contest and allowing She Corporate to manage the closing stages comfortably.

The victory lifts She Corporate to 29 points, drawing them level with defending champions Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC, who retain top spot on head-to-head advantage. With momentum now firmly on their side, the Sharks have sent a clear warning that the championship chase is far from settled.

Queens Held as Chasers Drop Points
Elsewhere, Kampala Queens WFC missed an opportunity to close the gap after being forced to share spoils in a dramatic 2–2 draw with Rines WFC.

Peace Muduwa’s opener had given the Queens control before the break, but Rines responded with resilience. Patricia Nakato Nanyanzi restored parity from the penalty spot before Phionah Arach stunned the home side with a swift counterattacking finish. A late surge eventually paid off for Kampala Queens when Zaituni Namaganda struck in the 82nd minute to rescue a point, though the result leaves them seven points behind the leaders.

In other fixtures, Uganda Martyrs WFC secured a 2–0 win over Lady Doves FC, while St Noa Girls FC drew 1–1 with Kawempe Muslim SS WFC. Goalless stalemates were recorded between Olila High School WFC and She Maroons FC, as well as Amus College WFC and Makerere University WFC.

With 11 goals scored across six matches, Matchday 12 delivered both drama and shifting momentum — setting up a fiercely contested second round in Uganda’s top-flight women’s league.
