SC Villa will be seeking to register a Uganda Premier league double over Mbarara City when the two sides face off today at Kakyeka Stadium.
The 17-time league champions, managed a 4-2 victory in the reverse fixture at Wankulukuku and head into this encounter full of confidence after a commanding 3-1 win over Mbale Heroes. Another victory today would mark their fifth in six matches.
Mbarara City, meanwhile, are under pressure to turn their fortunes around. The Ankole Lions suffered a 2-0 defeat to Police FC in their last outing and are still searching for their first home win since November 2024, when they edged Express FC.
