BUL FC continued with impressive performance in the second round of the Uganda Premier League after beating SC Villa 1-0 at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.
The Eastern giants have had the best performance in the second half of the season. Out of the seven games they played they have managed to win six and other has ended in stalemate.

Jerome Kirya’s strike in the 21st minute off Thomas Ochungo’s assist saw BUL move to 39 points in third position. Vipers and NEC remain top and second with 52 and 48 points respectively.
BUL also managed to revenge on Villa, a side that beat them 2-1 in the first leg and 0-1 at home last season. However, SC Villa there inconsistent continued as they remained eighth with 30 points.

Having beaten Vipers 1-0 in the previous game before BUL, many of the Villa faithful thought that team would build on that against BUL which didn’t happen.
The defending champions have had inconsistent performances this season and this has partly been blamed to the players and technical team managed by coach Morley Byekwaso.
